Probley

Overview

Probely, an award winning SaaS startup that specializes in automated web application and API vulnerability scanning, approached us to rebuild their website with a modern, scalable tech stack. As a growing global provider of app security solutions, their static website had become a bottleneck for their marketing and content teams, limiting their ability to scale and publish content at their desired velocity.

Probely's static website, built on Netlify CMS and jQuery, lacked the flexibility, maturity, and ease of content management that their expanding teams needed. Content updates were slow, requiring full site redeployment for even minor changes. This dependence on developers not only hindered marketing efforts but also slowed time-to-market for new pages and campaigns. Additionally, unresolved SEO issues were affecting the site’s visibility, limiting Probely’s ability to reach new

Solution

To address these issues, we rebuilt their site using a modern headless CMS solution. We implemented NextJS for scalability and Sanity CMS for flexibility, allowing Probely’s marketing and content teams to manage content independently without technical assistance. The new Page Builder we integrated empowered the team to rapidly create new landing and campaign pages using modular components, improving both productivity and efficiency.

Additionally, we conducted a comprehensive SEO audit and resolved 100% of the technical SEO issues, improving organic search visibility and overall site performance.

Strategy

Our approach focused on key strategic areas:

  • Increase content velocity with Sanity: Our goal was to empower their content team to publish a new article or landing page and it be live in seconds. Building with a modern tech stack like Sanity CMS, NextJS, and Vercel allowed for this goal to be achieved. Editors can now write articles async and schedule out their publish dates. All going live with in seconds of publishing!
  • Unlock deployment speed and management with Vercel: Previously, their team was deploying to Netlify. Now, there is nothing wrong with Netlify, but with their previous setup, there was a huge bottleneck in deployment processes with only certain team members having access to deploy. This prevented the majority of team members to effectively manage deployments. With their new website being hosted on Vercel utilitzing all of the integrations with Github, any developer on their team can now trigger deployments once feature branches are merged to the main branch. And now, when a content manager goes to publish a new blog article or landing page, those changes go live in real time once they publish the content.
  • SEO Optimization: After conducting an SEO audit, the audit revealed many technical SEO issues that were blocking organic traffic from making the impact the site's content deserved. With our team of technical SEO experts, we built Probely's website with SEO best practices top of mind. With all technical SEO issues resolves, this removed a crucial barrier to their organic growth in search engines!
  • Marketing and Content Team Empowerment: We provided the marketing and content teams with full control over updates by implementing a headless CMS with Sanity. We built a Page Builder that include all the components and modules their team could need to build any of their landing pages. Now, their team members can log into the Sanity CMS, and create new landing pages and blog posts on demand and even schedule them to be published on a target date.
